Paul Melching

The first thing Paul Melching wants to know when he meets you is, “What car?”  The next thing he asks, “What color?” He is always polite and enthusiastic no matter what you drive but if the answer is red Ford he will give you a high five and say, “Sweeeeeet”. Paul likes anything to do with cars and his art reflects this interest. He makes collages of car photos that he cuts from magazines. He’s also made trips to the salvage yard with his teacher to find auto parts he can use in his latest project. Paul also likes keys and has quite a collection. He uses them in his art as well and often constructs wind chimes using keys donated to his cause.
